What our service includes

Four commitments that set a professional job apart.

Water analysis

Electronic test each visit: pH, free and combined chlorine, alkalinity, hardness and stabiliser.

Chemical adjustment

Adding chlorine, pH adjuster, algicide and other products as analysis dictates.

Full cleaning

Skimmers, pre-filter, wall and floor brushing, hose or robot vacuuming.

No surprises

Fixed monthly fee with chemicals included. No extra invoices except special cases.

The maintenance system that works

Pool maintenance on the Costa Blanca isn’t done well with sporadic visits when something pops up. Water chemistry, physical cleaning and mechanical equipment need continuous, predictable attention to keep the pool in optimal condition. So we offer monthly maintenance contracts with scheduled visits at frequencies adapted to season and use. It’s the formula hundreds of owners in the area already use and the only way to guarantee the pool is always ready without surprises or having to think about it.

Standard format is weekly visits June-September (high season with intensive use and high temperatures that accelerate chemical consumption and algae growth) and fortnightly October-May (low season where the pool is maintained but not heavily used). Each visit lasts about 60-90 minutes by pool size, covering all critical maintenance aspects.

What’s done each visit

We start with water analysis using reactive strip and precision electronic test. We measure pH (must be 7.2-7.6), free chlorine (1-3 ppm), combined chlorine (must be below 0.5 ppm), total alkalinity (80-120 ppm), hardness (calcium below 250 ppm) and stabiliser (cyanuric acid 30-50 ppm). Any deviation is corrected with the right chemical at the exact dose calculated for the pool volume.

Physical cleaning follows. We empty skimmer baskets (where surface debris collects: leaves, insects, drift), clean the pump pre-filter (where everything past the skimmer ends up), brush walls and floor to release biofilm and adhered dirt, and vacuum the bottom with hose or with the electric robot we bring. If there’s visible algae, we apply targeted algicide before it spreads.

We check mechanical equipment status. Sand filter (working pressure, backwash if it exceeds nominal), circulation pump (rated current, noise, vibration), filtration unit if equipped (correct filtration time), valves and pipework (no leaks), submerged lighting if any. Anything off-spec gets a written report and a planned intervention.

Chemicals included

Monthly price includes all standard maintenance chemicals: granular or tablet chlorine, pH adjuster (up and down), preventive algicide, flocculant for clarification when needed, cyanuric acid stabiliser. We bring them in the van and top them up by your pool’s real consumption. You don’t buy them separately or worry about stock.

Special products (descaler, mass-algae shock, winter treatment) are charged separately as one-off interventions when needed, flagged in advance and justified by water analysis showing the need.
