What our service includes

Four commitments that set a professional job apart.

Initial inspection

We assess floor, wall and waterline state before choosing treatment.

Electric robot

We bring a Dolphin or Zodiac robot covering floor, walls and waterline over 2-3 hours.

Extra treatment

If algae are stuck, manual brushing and specific product application before the robot.

Result guaranteed

If cleaning isn’t complete due to exceptional dirt, second visit at no extra cost.

When deep robot cleaning is done

Deep cleaning with an electric robot is a one-off service we recommend in four specific situations. First, monthly complement to standard maintenance to do a very deep clean once a month in high season that brushing alone can’t achieve. Second, recovery of an abandoned or heavily neglected pool that needs mechanical washing before normal chemistry and filtration can be restored. Third, pre-event cleaning (birthday, holiday-rental tenant arrival, photography) where the result must be perfect and visible imperfections aren’t acceptable. Fourth, post-storm cleaning when the pool is full of leaves, small branches and drift that need deep removal.

The professional electric robot we use is very different from a domestic one. Larger, more powerful, with active rotating brushes instead of passive ones, and filtering through a replaceable internal bag that can catch particles down to 2 microns. It covers floor, walls and waterline with software-optimised path. For a standard 30-50 m³ pool, the full cycle is 2-3 hours and clearly outperforms any manual hose or conventional vacuum cleaning.

The full visit process

We arrive with the robot in the van and auxiliary tools. First we visually inspect the pool state and identify zones needing prior attention: algae stuck to walls the robot won’t remove on its own, lime stains on the waterline needing specific acid treatment, heavy sediments in particular floor areas. Manual brushing of critical zones with stiff brush and specific algicide or descaler as needed.

We connect the robot to the electric circuit and put it in the water. During the cycle the robot works autonomously covering the whole surface. We use the time to deep clean skimmers and pump pre-filter, backwash the sand filter, go over the waterline with a specific sponge if there are fine stains the robot doesn’t fully remove, and verify chemical parameters to adjust at the end.

When the robot finishes, we take it out, open it, empty the inner bag (literally kilos of accumulated dirt), rinse the bag for next clean, and put the robot back on its trolley. To close, we complete the filter backwash, adjust final water chemistry, and leave the pool ready for immediate use.

Green pool recovery

Pools that turned green from off-season neglect or prolonged owner absence need a longer process than standard deep clean. We start with assessment: light green with floor still visible, we recover with intensive shock chlorination, flocculant and robot over 3-7 days. Deep green with floor invisible, partial drain (30-60% of water), mechanical wall and floor washing, refill with treated new water, and intensive treatment. Typical total: 5-10 days for full recovery.

FAQ

How long does deep cleaning take?

Full visit: 3-4 hours. Robot works 2-3 hours while we do other tasks. Result clearly above any manual cleaning.

Worth combining with monthly maintenance?

Yes. Once a month in high season as complement to standard weekly visits. Covers accumulated dirt that brushing alone doesn’t reach.

My pool is very green, can you recover it?

Yes in most cases, 5-10 days depending on severity. Site visit for diagnosis and quote. Sometimes requires partial drain.

Can we use the pool right after?

Yes, once final chemistry is adjusted the water is ready. Wait 2-4 hours after one-off chemical treatments like flocculant.

Do you remove lime stains on waterline?

Yes, with specific descaler and manual brushing. If lime is heavily caked from years of neglect, may need extra treatment.
